Community First in Holyhead

What is Môn CF?
Following the re-organization of the Communities First (CF) programme by the Welsh Government in 2012 the former CF partnerships on the Isle of Anglesey merged into one large organization – Môn Communities First (CF) This new organization provides a range of support services and activities for the electoral wards of Kingsland, Morawelon, London Road, Porth-y-Felin, Maes Hyfryd and Town in Holyhead as well as Tudur Ward in Llangefni. Môn CF is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee, and we have a Board of Trustee Directors. They are all unpaid and give their time to ensure we operate with the highest possible principles of openness and fairness. Our main source of funding is via the Welsh Government’s Communities First programme but we also access other funds via a range of organizations both public and private. We also assist other bodies with applications for funding. The Communities First ethos is all about providing help and support for members of our community and our focus is on developing an environment which is Prosperous, Healthy and promotes Learning opportunities.
We have two main bases:
61-63 Market Street Holyhead &
8 High Street, Llangefni
In addition, we have a new Community Vocational Academy which has recently opened at Unit 9a Penrhos Industrial Estate,
Holyhead. Our staff are here to help you and we are always eager to support individuals and groups so, if you would like advice or support, or are looking to give your time as a volunteer to support our work, please get in touch.
