The 19th Century farmhouse, on our 300 acre dairy farm is large, comfortable and tastefully furnished with antiques, set in a lovely garden with south facing aspect
the house is surrounded by pasture land with an uninterrupted vista towards the Snowdonian mountain range.
The spacious twin bedded room has a colour television, wash hand basin, tea/coffee tray and a three piece suite, a truly restful room with a lovely view. The double bedded room has a colour TV, wash hand basin, tea/coffee tray, and two comfortable armchairs. Full cooked or continental breakfast can be enjoyed in a beautifully appointed dining room.
The village of Valley is half a mile away on the A5 road, where there are two pubs providing good food, a bank, a chemist, and hairdressers, a market every Thursday and many good shops.
Rhoscolyn and Trearddur Bay are within five minutes by car on the B4545 where there are good sandy beaches for safe bathing and all types of water sports. South Stack cliffs is an ideal venue for bird watching. Skin diving, sail boarding and horse riding lessons are all available from local schools. Pathways covering many miles of Anglesey's beautiful coastline can be
enjoyed by walkers.
The town of Holyhead is four miles away where there is a Golf Course and Leisure Centre with a swimming pool, squash and badminton courts, table tennis and
fitness gym. There are also facilities for sailing within Holyhead harbour.
The port of Holyhead has sailings to Ireland several times a day. Stena Line and Irish Ferries both have fast ferries taking only 99 minutes to cross the Irish Sea to Dun Laoghaire and Dublin, the close proximity to Holyhead makes Ty Mawr an ideal place to stay when taking the ferry to Ireland.
The entrance to Ty Mawr is located on the roundabout on the A5 road, half a mile east of the B4545 and A5025 traffic lights Leave the A55 dual carriageway at the Valley/Trearddur Bay exit.
