The Peibio Bowling Green was opened on 13th July, 1987 by Councillor Jimmy O'Toole, who with Mr. Alan Edwards, was the green's driving force.
It is said to be just like a little oasis in the midst of Holyhead suburbia, complete with a beautiful, panoramic views of Penrhos beach and the coast of Anglesey
The Club currently has about 30 adult members and also some junior members, proving that this sport is not just for those in their twilight years. The club has facilities for disabled people, including playing facilities. New members will be very welcome here. The club can even supply the bowls if you don't have a set of your own - and that's included in the price! There is also an ample car park at the Club
Opening times: 1.30pm - 5pm
On Friday the Bowling Green is open in the evening also
from 6pm, when the Club'squalified coach
is on hand.
Membership fees and green fees
Adult - £30 annually
Senior Citizens - £20 annually
Juniors (12 - 18yrs) - £2 and 20p green fees
Adult green fees £2 (visitors)
Junior green fee £1
Holiday Period Fee (per week) £6
