The UCHELDRE CENTRE  is a former convent Chapel and has been transformed into an award-winning arts and exhibitions centre.  Here there is plenty to do for everyone. There are children's workshops, Welsh folk dancing, traditional Celtic music, outdoor Shakespeare, mime, dance talks, concerts and shows by well known touring
companies and broadcasting personalities, and the centre shows up to the minute films and movies.  The Ucheldre kitchen offers wholesome home -cooked food , and you'll enjoy a stroll in the landscaped gardens with its
amphitheatre and sculpture.  The Ucheldre Centre also has it's own bookshop and music shop where you can buy gifts and souvenirs.        CLICK HERE

St. CYBI's CHURCH dates back from the thirteenth to the seventeenth century.  It gets it's name from Cybi - a Celtic Saint, who settled here in the sixteenth century.  A window by Byrne-Jones and William Morris is (included in it's Victorian restorations) can be seen here.  The Church is situated in the town centre close to the shops and car park.
