Marina/Trinity Court
The Marina at Holyhead is centrally placed for all passengers
throughout the Irish Sea. It is a safe haven with 24 hour access in all
weathers.
Services offered there include 240v power supply to all pontoon
fingers, diesel is available during office hours, 24 hour CCTV covering
all marina berths and the harbour. Full boatyard facitlities are
available on site GRP, steel, ferro and aluminium hull work, diesel and
petrol engines, outboard engines, rigging, stainless steel welding and
fitting. Fitting out and full refits can be undertaken. Bookings may be
made for the Marina to recover and launch boats from their pontoon
berths for storage ashore. The Marina also offers many other services
such as free wi-fi and internet acess (availabe at the reception) there
is a grocery store, a beauty salon, and a Yacht shop which is open 24hrs
a day. Holyhead Sailing is a thriving sailing, and is next door to the
Marina. It was founded in 1905 as the Porth-y-Felin Sailing Club. Since
then its range of racing and cruising yachts has steadily expanded. The
Club's aim is simply to "support & encourage sailing" and with over 600
members and moorings for up to 170 boats they are well placed to support
those aims. The Club has both a bar and restaurant. Visitors are made
welcome by the Club.
