Anglesey Coastal Path
Rhodri Morgan the First Minister officially opened the Isle of Anglesey Coastal
Path at St. Cybi's Church Holyhead on June 9th 2006
The event is the culmination of thirty years work and a plaque unveiled at the
opening will mark the start and end point of the 125 mile route.
About 300,000 walkers use Anglesey's Coastal Path every year contributing
around twelve million pounds or so to the local economy.
It is recommended to do the route on 12 separate days as this means an average of around 10 miles per section.
This links up well with village services and convenient bus stops
The Official full colour Guidebook published in December 2005 priced
£9.99 is a bilingual guide and is available from island tourist information centres
